This third book in the series is about Noah and Claire. They met in the second book during the height of Skye and Trace's....drama. Claire had a horrible past. And she's been literally running from it every since. Noah has the same past as Trace, except he had a fatal drama go down that was different than Claire's but somewhat ties them to one another of sorts. Noah has spent his time sleeping only with woman after woman and never caring about any of them, but immediately he knows Claire is different. Claire feels the same about Noah, but knows he's dangerous and she's done dangerous before and is still trying to get away from it. She stands in front of me as she goes through the signs of why I shouldn't kiss her again, but every single thing in me is telling me that this is the moment. This right here, no matter how we got here, is our moment.Noah York is a man with secrets. The world sees him as a billionaire hotel tycoon, but Noah has a dark and dangerous side. For years, he worked covert military operations before he built his fortune. When it comes to death, Noah is a master. He knows that he should steer clear of Claire, but the white-hot attraction Noah feels for the delicate beauty is instant—and consuming. As always, I'm always impressed by Cynthia Eden. I'm now (already) hoping against all hope that Drake gets his own story. I fell quite in love with him during this book. He actually gave Claire some hard truths and tender moments that I felt Noah didn't, and he really endeared himself to me. He obviously has a protective streak, and I'm ready to see him fall. The sisters reminded me so much of me & my sister and I loved that connection between them. Ace was positively HOT and I loved every interaction we read with him. Their connection & attraction was undeniable! I loved their hilarious banter and the spicy scenes were sooooo good. Shelby was a strong, lovable female lead and I enjoyed her personality. Ace and Shelby are so much fun, and I laughed a lot at their banter. There’s clearly chemistry between them, but this wild attraction to each other is unexpected… or is it? Their past is long and twisted, and everything between them feels natural and effortless as they embrace all that they’re feeling, and just go for it. Mine to Hold would work fine for a stand-alone. Although certain earlier events are alluded to, I don’t think reading the first two books in the series are necessary but I recommend starting from book one if possible. As far as the next book, I haven’t seen any news on if or when another book will be released. I’m hoping that Cynthia Eden will not let readers wait too long before the fourth book is announced. I’m definitely excited to see what’s next!

Unparalleled sex that rides the line of erotic but never manages to cross...just barely staying mainstream. Eden is really talented about using exactly the right words to be super hot and titillating but never over the top. She uses sex to bring her couple together both physically and emotionally, and she utilizes it throughout the story, not just thrown in as a romance genre duty. Sex and seduction are a tool of her trade, and she wields them to perfection!

I had a hard time understanding the writing. It seemed to have lots of unnecessary parts and filler scenes especially leading up to the wedding and during the "honeymoon" trip. Noah York is used to always being in control. His character already managed to intrigue me in the previous parts of the series, so I was very curious to find out more about him and the many mysteries he seemed to keep. He's the perfect type of alpha male, he's a rich, powerful hotel owner with a past full of fighting and killing. Even though, he's left that world behind, he's still the same calculated fighter with a lethal instinct. Especially when the things or persons closest to him are being threatened. If there's one person who'd to be able to protect Claire, it's supposed to be Noah... This is the second book in the Southern Wedding series. Shelby is the sister of Travis, from Mine To Have, and we catch up with her on the day before her own wedding. Everything is going to according to plan, and her sisters/fellow event planners have got everything completely under control. It’s the groom himself who throws the wedding into chaos, when on the night before the wedding he accidentally sends his bride-to-be a love letter that definitely wasn’t intended for her. Shelby Baker had come to the venue early since she worked there. However, Joseph Romano was supposed to be at the wedding rehearsal at five it’s way beyond that, and, Joseph is MIA. Not something the bride wants to hear, the day before, or the day of the wedding. So, when they say don’t freak out, guess what she freaks out.

Oh boy! Cynthia Eden takes you on one hell of a roller coaster ride. This book is an intense guessing game. I was changing my mind right up until the surprising twist in the last moments. Trying to untangle the mess that is the Harrison family while trying to make sure that my kindle doesn’t spontaneously combust from the intense inferno that is Noah York...well let’s just say I had my work cut out. Noah and Claire were electric. They were intense. They were fierce. And they were HOT! Noah York and Claire Kramer do feature in the previous books, but Mine To Hold is their story, and theirs alone. We found out a little of Claire's past in Mine To Keep, and Noah has been a part of Trace's world for a while so featured in both Mine To Take & Keep. Every damn time I thought I was close to figuring it out, the other shoe would drop and my theory would be blown to hell. And even when I got close, some twist would happen and you would second guess everything you thought you had figured it out. At every turn, every suspicion, every guess...Mine to Hold is book 3 in the "Mine Series" by Cynthia Eden. The first two books follow Skye and Trace, book 3 follows Noah and Claire. He hadn’t been afraid, not since his parents had died. Even when he’d been battling the enemy—in ice, in sand, in the dankest forest he’d ever imagined—Noah hadn’t been afraid. Okay, well, obviously I've always been attracted to you." I look at her face to see how she will react to the news.

Did seeing her . . ." She takes a big breath, looking down and then up again. "Did seeing her . . ." She swallows. "Did you change your mind?" She smiles at me. "It's okay if you did. I'd understand." "The only thing it did," I assure her, stopping her from even thinking anything, "is made it even clearer that I'm where I'm meant to be." Noah is your ultimate alpha male, hard, gritty and blunt. I loved him! Claire although broken was not weak and she didn't annoy me like the usual heroine playing damsel in distress(the books I read have a lot of those) I really enjoyed this book, it was so much better than the first two. I may have had a slight problem near the end but I decided not take away stars because I was actually being a little insensitive well actually a lot insensitive. I figure the heroine was being a bit melodramatic about dying But that's just me. Mine to Hold didn’t deliver any unexpected twists. I knew the path the story would take, however it still kept me entertained. The story shows one has to be careful who they allow in their circle. Not everyone in your circle is happy for you. There is always that one who is jealous of you and will try any means to tear you down.

I really like how the author crafted this story and brought all the elements, I described above, together. That’s not easy to do. I give huge props to another fantastic book in this series!!! I highly recommend the entire series. Claire’s past has finally caught up with her even after all her efforts to keep them out of her life. The insane family who has been tormenting her since her parent’s death has surfaced again. Claire is horrified. Claire is the victim of a terrible, violent crime when she was a young woman. As a result of what happens, she not only loses her parents but also earns a powerful enemy that vows to make her life difficult. She is forced to run, from job to job, from city to city…she’s been unable to come to terms with her loss or feel safe anywhere or with anyone. Until Noah. Ok enough about my dreaming. The setting, the characters, the banter, and the romance combined made for a fast, but enjoyable reading experience. Like quiet and shit," I say, my words coming out like word vomit instead of me taking the time to think of the words I want to say and how I want to say them. I wait for her to say something, anything, and she doesn't.
